Probably not: 1 energy drink a day will probably not do any serious damage to you. However, it is not supporting your health. It is not unusual to have a sensitivity to artificial sweeteners (they give me a headache, for instance). Also, energy drinks contain untested combinations of caffeine and herbal supplements. They can be quite dangerous in large quantities. Which means they are not healthy overall.

Bad Buzz...: Studies have documented serious health impacts of energy drink overconsumption in causing seizures, cardiac arrest. Most studies have focused on the adverse effects of caffeine. However, supplements often added can include vitamin B complex which includes niacin. Niacin is known to be toxic to the liver at 2-3 grams/day. Consider stopping energy drinks if liver tests abnormal. Ref. MD Med 13(4).
