Sure: Diabetes is diagnosed when blood sugar levels are elevated and is indicated by a fasting blood glucose level, but can also be diagnosed with a random glucose level. If you feel like your blood glucose only spikes when you are not being tested, a hemoglobin a1c can also be tested that indicates longitudinally what your blood sugar is.
