Glucose meter: I am sure you have a friend who has a home glucose meter. To ease your anxiety us a meter to test your blood sugar. If you test fasting and if your blood sugar is between 70-120 then odds are you do not have diabetes. Also, if you do have diabetes do not freak out as long as levels are below 250. If greater than that, see if you can get an earlier appointment and get on low carb diet.
