Possible but unlikel: Most fractures will heal with stabilization, casting, and occasionally surgery. The fibula is the smaller bone of the lower leg. Unless there are other comorbid conditions: pvd, diabetes, infection, amputation would be an unlikely result.

Not usually : The fibula is the smaller bone in the lower leg. Fractures may require casting or surgery. There would have to be other injuries to result in the need for such a drastic procedure.
