Chronic daily HA's: Your pattern is tough to treat, as you really are best served by breaking it up with preventative meds. Some which do work include depakote, beta-blockers. Topiriamate, but also otc preps such as riboflavin, butterbur, freverfew, etc.

Yes: Yes, it is bad--pain is not good. Yes, there are treatments--but they depend on why you are getting the migraines, what the symptoms of your migraines are, and how severe they are. You need to see a physician, be examined, and try to find a cause. Then a treatment regimen can be initiated. Good luck!

Can be stopped: Several preventative meds are available. Approved by fda are propanalol, timolol, depakote, topamax, (topiramate) but could try otc preps such as butterbur, magnesium, riboflavin, feverfew, co-q10. Most headache specialists can guide your therapy, so break up pattern soon as chronic daily headaches can get worse with time.
