Need decongestant: No antihistamine other than singulair (montelukast) has decongestant properties which is why so many are accompanied by decongestants. For acute treatment try sudafed but it may raise pulse and blood pressure and make it hard to sleep so is best to use during day. Topical decongestants such as afrin are great but don't use more than 3-4 days in a row. Nasal saline can clear secretions and improve airway.
