A member asked:

How can someone with multiple sclerosis be allergic to all the medications? what can they do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Are you sure?: Most of the meds used in ms are very different, and even then, most allergic rxtns are not common. You could have reactions to interferons, but, copaxone, gilenya, aubagio, tysabri (natalizumab) might be alternatives. To be emphasized, some of the injectables are started slowly to avoid adverse events, and these are not allergies. Suggest you visit ms specialist at wayne state university and get this fixed.
