A member asked:

Are there medications that can help with mobility problems caused by multiple sclerosis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You bet!: Anti-spasticity agents will assist the tightness in the legs, and you could try baclofen, tizanidine, maybe botox, etc. The newest agent touted to assist gait speed, and stamina, is called ampyra, (dalfampridine) but may not help everyone, just have to try it. Best way to address mobility problem is to be using the most effective potent medications, and supplementing with vitamin d.
