Solve the problem!: If you recently had dental work, call your dentist. If you didn't, call your dentist. Like a splinter in your finger, dental pain exists because there is a problem. Would you take pain medication and antibiotics to manage the splinter? Not likely: you would take it out! don't just medicate, solve the problem & be well :-).

Endodontist: You need to attend to the cause of your problem instead of trying to quiet the symptoms. You probably have an abscessed tooth. You should see an endodontist.

Toothache: Most common cause is infection of the nerve of the tooth, from a cavity, or infected gums. Second most common cause is tooth fracture. Topical analgesic will not fix the infection or fracture. How to fix? See a Denoisy. There's nothing ou can buy on the shelf in the pharmacy or super market that will help. See a Dentist.Stop procrastinating. See a Dentist.
