OTC : Otc pain meds will temporarily relieve your symptoms, but you need to determine why you have a toothache, and get it fixed, or it will get worse. The only way to do that is to make an appointment with your dentist.

Orajel : Orajel is a topical anesthetic and only effective if it gets directly to the source of the discomfort. You must call for a dental appointment asap and not count on any otc medicine as a cure.

As : As the other doctors have advised, it is prudent to make an appointment with a dentist and have your teeth checked out to determine the cause of the toothache, however minor. Orajel is only a topical analgesic. It might not effectively relieve your pain. Any painkiller will only temporarily relieve your symptoms, but it is wise to get to the bottom of the problem, so it doesn't return twice as worse. Good luck!
