A member asked:

I have pvcs and lately i feel a very long pause after them. how long of a pause is concerning? and what is it called?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Compensatory pause: This is called a compensatory pause, and is normal after a PVC as the heart resets its electrical system. It is difficult to say how long is too long without knowing more information, but pauses after isolated pvcs are not abnormal.
