Has it helped?: The answer to your question depends on your response to the treatment. The dose of Propranolol is so low, and the formulation er (extended release) is such that stopping it is ok without "weaning" off. If it has not helped, your doctor might want to try another approach or even increase the dose of the Propranolol to 60mg twice a day. It depends upon your symptoms, both on and off the medication.
