PVC's: If you husband is exhibiting distress like moderate chest pain or shortness of breath it may be time for 911.

PVC: Pvc's are in general benign and a common finding. They may be triggered by anxiety or stimulants. The frequency and length of time the symptoms last are not generally predictive. Seek care for symptoms which are different from his "routine" pvc's.

PVCs vs arrhythmia: Premature Ventricular Contractions (PVCs) are isolated extra beats. The patient may feel them as an extra beat or skipped beat. These are generally not worrisome. However if one is having sustained palpitations, feeling that that heart is racing or beating in an irregular rhythm for more than a few seconds, this should be evaluated. If short of breath, chest pain, or near fainting go to ER
