IBS: Does not cause bloody diarrhea with clots. You need to see a ghi doctor or colorectal surgeon promptly for a colonoscopy and work up. Do not delay. Ibs is not the correct diagnosis.

There could be: You need a colonoscopy if you have not had a recent one.

IBD?: You could have a different condition, inflammatory bowel disease. 2 particular conditions, crohns or ulcerative colitis can cause bloody diarrhea. You should definitely see a gastroenterologist for further testing.
