Yes: Pcos is an underlying hormone problem. If you have it, you should see your gyn for labs, exam, and ultrasound to evaluate and come up with a plan for treatment.

PCOS is a: Hormonal imbalance. Technically, so it diabetes. A buffalo hump is sometimes associated w cushing's syndrome or disease, which causes elevated cortisol. This can also cause diabetes. Pcos can be associated w obesity, which can cause diabetes and a buffalo hump. So yes, they can be related, and hormonally based.
