Likely iron def.: There are several abnormalities, your red count is relatively normal but the cells are borderline small, with a large variation in the sizes of red cells, indicating a possible mixed picture. You have a large number of lymphocytes with relatively low granulocytic white cells, which sometimes indicates a viral infection. Iron studies might be useful, and a lost art would be to look at the slide.
