Thoracic region: I am assuming you are talking about the inner or medial aspect of your upper arm. This region is subserved by your upper thoracic nerve like your t2. With associated back pain ( upper region I am assuming) you may be having a disc pathology or arthritic condition at this region. See your doctor for an an exam and x-rays may be ordered on this region to find out what is really happening.
