Probably not: If you mean your heart rate is 89 when you are exercising strenuously, i'd have to ask if you are an athlete. A slow heart rate when exercising *may* mean there is something unusual going on. Usually, though, a heart rate of 89 is perfectly normal.

Not necessarily: Normal heart rates range between 60-100 beats per minute. If this is a new issue and causing distress please see your doctor.

Heart rate: Lots of possibilities including but not limited to anemia, hyperthyroid, poor conditioning, hypotenuse, dehydration, excess catecholamines.........
