A member asked:

Strep throat and scarlet fever. it got worse after the antibiotics is this normal?

No: You should begin to improve within 24 hours of starting appropriate antibiotics. You may want to go back to your doctor and be re-evaluated. This depends of course on how you are getting worse. If just the rash is worse you can certainly wait. If you have developed fever, chills or other new symptoms you should be seen more promptly.

No: Exactly what got worse? If you have strep throat, within 24-48hrs you should be much better, not worse.Check with your doctor.
