It can vary: No magic recipe for that unfortunately. Stimulant meds generally work well for adhd in the vast majority of the cases - but can be an issue if substance abuse is part of the borderline personality issue. There is no medication that cures borderline, but sometimes depending on the co-occuring disorders that can go along with borderline - different meds r used. A good psychiatrist is important.
