Can be: Many students who have adhd symptoms also have one or more learning disabilities. Some students with documented learning disabilities have symptoms of adhd. However, either diagnosis can exist without symptoms/findings of the other one.

They can co-occur: About 30%of children with a learning disability have adhd and about 30%-35% with adhd have specific learning disabilities. Adhd is not a learning disability, but inattention/distractibility impact learning. Active working memory, the ability to hold onto information till you have to do something with it is often impaired ( like remembering a phone number till you dial it)..And other challenges.
