Yes: Adhd can affect many types of learning, causing gaps in knowledge and inability to understand certain concepts. Talk with her pediatrician about treatment. Some children will need tutoring to catch up on concepts they missed out on. A psychologist may be helpful for testing to find out what she needs. Also a therapist may help with self-esteem or trouble handling frustrations.
