Ues: You can wear closed shoes as long as your toes are bandaged. The shoes should not be tight.

YES: As for now, it's all a matter of comfort. You can wear any shoe that is comfortable for you. If the nails are going to be allowed to grow back, apply lotrimin (clotrimazole) ultra daily to greatly reduce the possibility of fungal infection - this has been shown to be very successful (based on a paper i authored and was published in 1990).
