See a dentist.: Go and see a dentist specially trained in TMJ problems and tell him/her your symptoms and have him examine you. If you do have this problem, you're seeing the right person for getting proper treatment.

Headach,pain: If you feel pain when chewing on hard foods or having pain or tension in that side of the face, might be associated with migran headache or ear aches with everything else are ok. A visit to your dentist he can easily diagnose a TMJ problem.

Not easy to diagnose: The best way to find out is to visit your dentist for a proper diagnosis. A true TMJ problem should be treated very quickly. Ear pains, headaches, migranes, bite problems can present as a TMJ problem so self diagnosis is very difficult.
