Difficult : This is a very complex disease. It can produce chronic fatigue, enlargement of the spleen with concomitant decrease in platelets, there can be anemia, central nervous system symptoms and so on. Caused by epstein barr virus (ebv) it is a lifetime companion and can produce recurrences even after recovery. Your doctor can best assess where you are in the stage of illness. Get better soon.
