I recently had blood tests and resulted in a high mpv and rdw...what does that mean?

MPV is : Mean platelet volume and RDW is red cell distribution width. So platelets are larger than average and red cells have more variability in size than average. May not mean much if the CBC is otherwise unremarkable, but could be subtle signs of a slightly "stressed" bone marrow, ie increased cell production.
