Very safe unless...: You would want to limit caffeinated green tea due to the caffeine content but it is safe for most people to drink copious quantities of decaf green tea. However, there is one important exception; those with certain autoimmune diseases could have them aggravated by green tea. If you do not have autoimmune issues then it is quite safe.
