Many reasons: Common in the us is peptic ulcer disease or gallbladder stones. But there can be many causes and i recommend that you see your family physician for a good physical exam and testing that is directed based on that exam.

See your doctor: it may just be gastritis (inflammation of your stomach) especially if there is a relationship to eating. Not enough info to really ascertain what may be causing your pain otherwise. Your doctor may give you a trial of an acid blocker as well as modification of your diet.
