Yes: Any proton pump inhibitor of which Prilosec or Omeprazole is would help. You should also watch the caffeine in your diet and if you are overweight then i would suggest losing some weight. Also do not lie down for 2 hours after having a meal.

Most likely would.: Some other things you can do to improve your heartburn follow. Elevate head of bed, avoid tight clothes that cinch the abdomen, avoid meals late at night, wait at least 3 hrs after a meal to lie down, eat smaller meals, maintain a healthy body weight, avoid smoking, avoid alcohol, coffee, tea, caffeine & carbonated beverages. Try acupuncture, hypnosis, ginger tea, relaxation exercises. See if
