A member asked:

Can blood work and ct scan of abdomen/pelvis and chest rule out any chances of cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not all cancers: The most common cancers are as follows: colon, lung, prostate, and breast. Other GI tract malignancies and head and neck tumors as well as gyn cancers are in the next tier of commonality. They each have their own needed screening test. Specific blood work, colonoscpy, chest ct, prostate exam and mammograms are all needed to screen for the above mentioned tumor types.
