Closed lock: There are multiple sources of closed lock. If the disk between the jaw and the skull is displaced, it can prevent full opening of the mouth. Also, the muscles of mastication (chewing muscles) can have inflamation that prevents full opening. One last consideration is a growth within the tmj/muscles. Have it examined by a qualified dental professional.

See a dentist: There is a problem with the alignment of your jaw joint. This needs to be assessed so the appropriate treatment can be determined for you.
