Locked jaw?: This sounds like a problem with your TMJ and/or the surrounding muscles and ligaments. This is common in people who chronically grind and/or clench their teeth (bruxism), but can also be the result of an injury, an infection, or impacted wisdom teeth. See your dentist or an oral surgeon for an examination and evaluation.
