A member asked:

Would becoming a vegan make me healthier?

No: Please don't let anyone bully you into becoming a vegan because of the junk-science in books like "the china study"; the benefits of any form of vegetarianism have resisted demonstration in all the big, good studies, and if you do not know exactly what you are doing and supplement, becoming a vegan will permanently ruin your health. As a protest against factory farming, i admire veganism greatly.

You and others.: You will become healthier when you stop poisoning your body with meat, milk and eggs. The global effect of reducing methane in the atmosphere and local effect of reducing fecal pollution in the groundwater is great for public health. The effect on the health of the chicken, cow, pig, lamb, fish, etc. Is immeasurable. Don't let meat eaters make you think veganism is dangerous.
