If i have been experiencing inflamed turbinates/congestion as a result of lpr and a deviated septum would i benefit from a septoplasty/reduction?

Treat the Cause: If your ENT thinks that this is related to lpr, you should treat the cause of inflammation first with anti-reflux meds. Nasal steroids might help decrease inflammation in your nose. If medical management fails, turbinate reduction might be a helfpul option. Septoplasty works to relieve nasal obstruction due to a deviated nasal septum, not for inflammation.
