Bipolar: Periods of agitation, grandiosity and lack of sleep, alternating with periods of sadness & lack of energy and appetite changes, basically highs & lows.

Bipolar Disorder: Fluctuation in the moods can be on extremes of low moods , suicidal tendencies to extreme high moods with reckless behaviors, risky impulsive acting out sleep is usually messed up can be a lot of irritability and agitation.Best way is to get an evaluation by a psychiatrist to get clarity on the mood symptoms.Rating screening tools dont' diagnose bipolar.Mood swings not always mean bipolar.
