Yes and no.: Does "better" mean improved or cure? There is no cure. If you have it, you have it for life. One has mood swings so one could get better with or without medication. Medication can improve the swings and also prevent them. The major problem with a Biploar is their going into denial when in a normal phase and stopping their medication.
