A member asked:

What is the usual combination of drugs that someone diagnosed with bipolar disorder ends up needing to remain stable?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not One Combination: There really isn't one "usual" combination. In my experience there are some indicators that can guide selecting medications based on the nature of your cycles (how do you go from energized to depressed, which direction is the switch faster, etcetera), but there is also quite a lot of variability in responses.
