NO: Benzodiazepines are good for quick relief but long term use is not recommended. Antidepressants offer more sustained reduction of anxiety & panic. Consult a psychiatrist for proper diagnosis & medication treatment. Therapy is powerful in addressing anxiety & panic including developement of anxiety management strategies for life-long control that eventually could eliminate need for medicin.

Panic Attacks: The best treatment is to get the panic attacks in control with less intensity and frequency to hopefully none. This can be achieved by combination of meds and therapy to address all the symptoms and building coping techniques only benzo is not good idea to continue for long duration pl consult with a psychiatrist to have best treatment options. Good luck to be anxiety free..
