Yes possible: Yes possible, small pnumothorax of 20 or less will get absorbed caused by procedure, diseases get absorbed with out intervention.

Yes: Particularly if the pneumo is on that same side , the discomfort can be anywhere on the chest. If some air leaks out into the chest wall- crepitance ( feels like rice crispies)in the neck can also be related to discomfort.
