No: Er dr's do not like to do procedures they are not trained to do, even if it (in theory) is as easy as pulling the string. Since we are not surgeons or gynecologists, any complication would be beyond our expertise (other than stabilizing until gyn/surg comes). Have your gyn/dr who placed it remove it. It may not have anything to do w/symptoms you describe.
