I have a sharp pain on my mid back , is it because of a pnemothorax or just because i had a thoracotomy 2 weeks ago?

Either: The thoracotomy can certainly cause a sharp pain in your mid back. Likewise a pneumothorax can also cause a sharp pain. Either could be the possibel cause, an x-ray would help determine if you had a new or resolving pneumothorax.
