Fruit and vegetables: Humans pick up the majority of our nutrients from fresh fruits, leafy greens, and vegetables. These are all great to put in to the diet to help us maintain our store of resources. Grains are a good way to boost the calorie intake to maintain our energy needs as well. Meat, while considered a good source of protein doesn't need to be eaten in near the quantities that we tend to in america.

Nutritious food: Protein, fruits, and vegetables have vitamins and minerals that are good for you. Green leafy vegetables often have more vitamins, nutrients, and antioxidants and so the more color, the better! you should drink water to keep hydrated as well. If you want to gain weight, you may need more calorie-dense food, often found with carbohydrates such as grains, rice, and pasta.
