Skin lesions: May just be dry skin (try moisturizing cream several times a day; avoid very hot baths/showers & harsh soaps). Might be sun damage from too much exposure; see doc for evaluation; actinic keratoses are easily treated via many methods. Use sunscreen when outdoors, even on cloudy days. If blisters form, may be recurrence of shingles (not common) but best treated early.

Shingles: I agree with Dr. Lewis. Blisters? No itching? No pain? Are lesions in same distribution as previously? This could be dry skin or another condition. It doesn't sound a lot like Shingles.
