Your : Your symptoms are concerning for an infection or allergic reaction. As it sounds like it is worsening, you must be evaluated for this. Hives are a possibility, as are scabies or other types of infection. If you develop fever, feel flu-like, or any shortness of breath then you must be seen as an emergency.

Hives: Sounds like hives which are red, raised and intensely itchy lesions that look like a mosquito-bite. Topical Hydrocortisone can help as can the use of oral non-sedating antihistamines in a slightly higher dose than the once daily (usually twice daily is started).
