2 tips: 2 quick but important tips: 1 regular exercise will increase ur metabolism. 2 don't skip meals! more specifically eat frequent, small, healthy meals. If you've been skipping for awhile & you start doing this it'll take a bit for your body to "trust" that food is going to come regularly & so you might gain some weight at 1st, but over time ur metabolism will increase. Talk to ur doc about it.

Exercise: Exercise, or any activity that uses calories such as fidgeting, speeds up your metabolism. Other medical phenomena that do this include cancer, serious injury, infection, stress, hyperthyroidism, taking amphetamines or simply eating more food. Contrarily, fasting, or dieting, slows your metabolism and by causing involution of the brown adipose tissue, can permanently impede weight loss.
