Pulled muscle?: I would need to know what you were doing when this pain started. Did you just start running or lifting weights? Did you stretch too hard? There are many causes of this pain, including poor circulation, pinched nerve, pulled muscle, etc. Please fill us in on what you think caused the pain to begin.

Could still be clot: Most dopplers studies are only do ne to the knee because clots below the knee are considered clinically insignificant. You should get a repeat study in 1 week. There co uld be other causes like calf strain or pulled muscle. In the mean time you can put heat on your calf and take antiinflammatories and see if it gets better.
