How to tell if my daughter has scarlet fever?

Symptoms/ test : The scarlet fever label applies when a strep a germ creates a toxin that circulates in the blood & causes a red rash to appear on the body.It usually appears first around the lower abdomen, genital region, arm folds & there is often a pale area around the mouth. The rash has a sandpaper feel & can gradually increase. The patient has fever & a positive strep test. Not all rashes r scarlet fever.
