My daughter has a fever for 3 days 102.5 with dry cough.. and i took here to a doctor and they could not tell whats wrong what should i do ?

Viral: The cough may be related to a viral illness. Keep her well hydrated and if the cough is not resolving as viral symptoms resolve, please see your Pediatrician. Control fever and if there is a fever > 101 on day 5, please your physician again. Closely observe for rash, redness of the eyes and peeling of skin.

Labels: You appear to want a label for the illness. Most are common respiratory viruses of which there are hundreds. A firm label would require specialty lab tests that are seldom worth the effort since most self heal in a week. If the problem persists or worsens consider a follow up visit to rule out a secondary infection with something requiring treatment.
