Probably very little: Why is it turning black? Injury, vascular disease, diabetes, get he point? Now if it is a bruise and happened several days ago and you do not have any underlying medical conditions that are affecting the severity of your problem, then you can simply apply heat to the area to speed up the bruise removal process. Any concerns and to the doctor you go.
