My friend stood on my big toe directly on the nail with platform heels & for the past month it has been bruised a dark purple/black. will it fall off?

Probably: IF damaged enough the pressure from the underlying blood will push the nail up and eventually new nail will push this off. If you can trim the nail back and clean out the blood from underneath it.
